Don’t waste your time on meditation,
whether in the mountains or in your home,
but instead go to the teacher.
山にいようと家にいようと
メディテーションをして
時間を無駄にしないで

Satsang is a tongueless teacher
and headless students.
サットサンガ(純粋な集い)は
舌のない先生と

So, shut your head,
let your Heart open.

Only to pay attention to That
with your open Heart.

If you are on fire with anger, grief,
and confusion,
run straight to the river of Satsang.

Quietness is not moving the mind
for one second and seeing your face. p.155

Pure witness without any judgement.
Remain witness.
いかなるジャッジもしない
純粋な目撃者、

Wherever there is a difference,
it is the mind which is cheating you.

Wherever there is time, there is mind.
時間の観念があるときはいつでも
マインドがある。
There is no difference between
time and mind and thought.
時間とマインドと思考の間に違いはない。
So if you want to be in Peace,
don’t think of time.
だからあなたが平和の中に居たいなら
時間について考えてはダメだ。
Don’t think about anyone because
thought is always of the past.
だれかのことを考えてはダメだ。

Meditation alone will not be good enough
because even the cranes meditate
as they wait for wish to come close
enough to catch.
瞑想だけでは十分ではない。
なぜなら
鶴でさえ魚を捕まえるのに
魚が十分に近くにくるまで
待って瞑想している。
The crane stands on one leg,
which is austerity,
in order to fool a fish.
But the fish is just a desired object
which you jump on
when they come close.
鶴は魚を欺くために

You do penance,
austerities and meditation
only for a desired object.
Stop all this.

Don’t be a crane.
Only worship the feet of the Lord,
it is enough. Devotion alone is enough.
鶴にならないこと。

This alone is enough.
It is an unfaling method.
All other methods can fail.
これが失敗のない方法だ。
ほかのすべての方法は失敗する。
Meditation are only for something
that you need, but
worshiping the feet of the Satguru
is to get rid of everything.
Look at the feet of the teacher.
瞑想はあなたが必要な
なにかのためになされるが
師の足を崇拝することは
すべてを取り除くことだ。
師の足を見つめなさい。

Just be quiet and love everything.
ただ静かにして
すべてを愛しなさい。
When you are not doing any activity,
it is That that keeping Quiet.
あなたが何の活動もしていないとき
沈黙し続けているものが

Then, there will be no mistake at all,
whether you are here or not here.

You must surrender to the Supreme Power
who is working in all the activities
you are doing.

A：There is no differrence between
jhana and bhakti.
You can approach God by love, which
means bhakti, which great devotion and love
and when you do this,
you know what is happening.

信愛の道。
偉大なる献身と愛によって
バクティを行えば
何が起こっているのか分かる。
If you love, you have knowledge also.
and if you know someone,
that someone has love for you also.
Therefore, jhana and bhakti are
two wings of the same bird.

あなたは知識があり知っている。
あなたが誰かのことを知っているなら
その誰かもまたあなたについて
愛をもっている。
それ故にジャーナとバクティは
同じ鳥の両翼になる。
If you love someone, that someone
will not keep any secret and
you will have knowledge.
and if you know someone,
that someone also has to love you.

もしあなたが誰かを知るなら
その誰かもまた
あなたを愛さなければならないの。
The one who has love in their heart
will want to see God as love itself.
You will find it comes from the heart,
which is Love. When you love,
you are loving your own heart.

The third is karma.
Karma yoga is whatever you do,
you do not seek for the
result of your doing.
You just do it and keep the result
in the hands of the supreme being.

Bhakti is through love where
the God loves the devotee.
Vichar is where the devotee
goes to God.
If God has to fall in love with you,
it is bhakti.
If you fall in love with God,
it is jhana.
バクティは神がその帰依者を愛する

ヴィチャーラ(探求)は帰依者が
神に向かうところにある。
もし神があなたと恋に落ちたら
それはバクティ。
もしあなたが神と恋に落ちたら
それはジャーナ。
Total bhakti cannot work
in this world.
People who commit totally
to jhana become too proud,
so half of each is good.
完全なバクティはこの世界で
機能しない。

Actually, all these run concurrently:
jhana, bhakti, karma.
If you get attached to one of these,
all the others are with you.

他のものもあなたと共にある。

They have given you blessings
and so you are here.

It is a blessing of God
and so many Saints and Sages
that enable you to come to Satsang.

Be patient and
don’t run away until
you have achieved the goal.

It is destined
when you will be Free,
just as it was for Buddha.

Q：I am a man of many desires and
they won’t stop bothering me.
私は多くの欲望をもった男で

A：Let them be fulfilled,
who stops them?
欲望を満たしなさい。

First try what you are liking and
loving and fulfill your mind.
When it gets lost and sunken then
it will know how to reject everything and
sit quiet.
まずあなたが好きなもの
愛しているものを愛し
マインドを満足させなさい。
マインドが沈むと

静かに座るかが分かるだろう。
When you have the desires to inquire,
No other desire can trouble you.

Pure mind rises from Heart
as no-mind and this is Consciousness.
Impurity of mind is
when the mind moves
and desire arises.
純粋なマインドは
ノーマインドとして
ハートからやって来る。
これが意識だ。
マインドが汚されるのは
マインドが動いて
欲望が起こってきたときだ。
This is bondage, this is
wanting something not permanent,
something is not abiding and not blissful.
Even the movement of thinking
” I am peace. ” disturbs peace.
これが束縛で
永遠でない何かを望んでいる。
至福でない何かを欲しがっている。
「私は平和だ」という
思考の動きでさえ平和を乱す。
You don’t mind,
you can’t move.
Only mind as intention moves.
あなたの本質は動かない、
動けない。
意図としてのマインドだけが動く。
When the mind is still,
freedom is here.
マインドが静かなとき
自由は「ここ」にある。

Ｑ：I also have the desires
to be realised.
私はまた
悟りたいという欲望もあります。
Ａ：Let this desire bother you.
If you really have this desire,
it is the end of all desires.
The desire will release all desires.
この欲望にあなたを煩わせなさい。

欲望のすべては終わったと同じだ。
この欲望は
ほかの全ての欲望を解き放つ。
Keep this desire up to the
time of your death and
you will be realised.
この欲望を
あなたが死ぬまで持っていなさい。
そうすると覚醒に至る。

欲望なしのあなたは平和で
この完璧な静寂さが自由だ。
自由への欲望は
ほかのあらゆる欲望を破壊する。
この欲望が湧きあがったときは
延期しないこと。
いま満たしなさい。
静かに座ってこの欲望に従いなさい。
未来に自由になりたいと
望まないこと。
いま自由になりたいと
踠(もが)かないこと。
この２つのあいだでなにが見える？

Give your mind to that power and
don’t have the ego that
I am a separate entity.
Know I am the supreme.
This you must win by love,
not intellect. p.285
その力にあなたの心を明け渡して
私が孤立した存在だという
自意識を持たないこと。
私がこの上なく
尊い存在だということを知るのだ。
これは知性ではなく愛によって

You become that to which
you offer yourself to, so offer
yourself only to Love. p.289

The best use of this moment
is drown in it.
This is devotion.

If you want to know Truth,
you must have one hundred percent
love for Truth.
In this way, there is no difference
between the ways of love and knowledge.
you need love to know and
you need to know what you are loving.

If you love her
she will not leave you.

except her.
